!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OOPS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This page shows some possible dangers.

Be sure there are no cables underneath where you want to drive a nail
When my brother was having some work done on the house the electrician had to take up the floorboards and discovered that when the boards were laid down 40 years ago a nail had been driven through a live cable. It had gone straight through the middle of the cable where the earth wire is and broken the wire. It was only the nail that was completing the earth loop.

Exploding Battery
For years I have been telling people "Never ever disconnect a battery when it is being charged or make any connection to it"

When a battery is being charged it generates Hydrogen which escapes through the vents, whenever a load is connected or disconnected it creates a spark. So the inevitable result is an almighty BANG and a shower of Sulphuric acid.

So despite knowing better when I was playing on the Stuart Turner I connected the jump leads to the starter motor............... I got away with it the first few times but then Bang. You can see the shower of acid that surrounds the engine. Fortunately I was OK but my clothes were ruined.
